Operating requirements of turbines and generators, plant capacity and transfer of generated electricity to the electrical system were evaluated as core project components.
Transformers, switchgear, protection systems and related electrical connections were planned as an integrated system for safe transmission of generated energy.
Transmission infrastructure and field implementation were coordinated to ensure electricity generated at the plant could be delivered to the grid. Coordination between mechanical and electrical disciplines was treated as a key part of the project process.
